Welcome to Ostrich.co.uk
Hello, and welcome to the blog that accompanies Ostrich.co.uk - a new UK cash back/loyalty/reward web site.
We know that due to the shiny new-ness of this blog, few people will be reading this, but we’d like to explain what we’re about, what cash back is, why it’s the ultimate loyalty programme and why you should join up if you’re in the UK.
We want to try and achieve several things with Ostrich.co.uk:
- We want you to save money when shopping online
- For you to find really great offers
- To point you in the direction of great products, at great prices, and for you then to make even bigger savings
- For you to get freebies that you wouldn’t have known you could have got otherwise
So, how does it all work?
You sign up with us (it takes seconds), and as an immediate “thank you” we put £5 in your account.
When you want to buy something from a retailer, you should find them in our list of over 1,200 UK-based online stores.
You click on the link on our page, and through the magic of the Internet (it’s not all string and chewing gum, you know?), we make sure that the advertised cash back for that retailer gets credited to your account.
When you get £25 or more in your account, we pay it securely either via bank transfer, or via Paypal: your choice.
If you refer friends, we give you a fiver for every one that makes the payment threshold. We hope they’ll thank you anyway, but it’s our way of us saying “thanks”.
Oh, lastly, we also let you in on freebies, discount vouchers and other goodies! More of that later on…
We think this is the best loyalty programme in the World, and we hope in time to convince you of that. The problem with the loyalty cards retailers give you in stores is that they give you coupons you can only use with them, but we give you cash you can spend (or save!) any way you want to.
Plus, it’s not just a few retailers you can use: we have 1,200 and the list is growing. We have dozens of holiday companies, and just as many gift shops just in time for Christmas. You can even get cash back on food and drink.
We currently only serve the UK market, but if that applies to you we hope you’ll join - and use - the service. If you have any problems, you can ask for help, any time.
